Football - 10th September 2011

I decided to look at all the leagues, and am experimenting how many of the favourites will win, so will probably choose 5 teams and do treble bets from the selection (10 treble bet).

Obviously not all below will be correct.

Wolverhampton v Tottenham, HW @ 2.5
Bolton v Man Utd, AW @ 1.44
Barnsley v Leicester, AW @ 2.1
 Bristol City v Brighton, AW @ 2.25
 Cardiff v Doncaster, HW @ 1.62
 Peterborough v Hull, HW 2.1
 Reading v Watford, Draw @ 3.4
 Southampton v Nott'm Forest, HW @ 1.83
 West Ham v Portsmouth, Draw @ 3.5
 Coventry v Derby, AW @ 2.5
 Charlton v Exeter, HW @ 1.53
 Aldershot v AFC Wimbledon, AW @ 2.75
 Cheltenham v Macclesfield, HW 1.91
 Northampton v Torquay, AW @ 2.75
 Plymouth v Port Vale, AW @ 2

Also, The sun top tips for BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

  • Blackpool v Ipswich
  • Swindon v Southend
  • Burnley v Middlesbrough
  • Sheff Wed v MK Dons
  • Crewe v Barnet
  • Norwich v WBA
I want to see whether this is profitable but never pay that much attention to how well the Sun prediction is, so if I make a record here, I can see whether this is a good market to play.

And, have decided to play the over 0.5 goals (ie, betting on games that will not end 0-0). It is low odds, but I am considering picking 3 games, and betting on one, and if a goal is scored, then betting that stake on one of the other two games, and if that happens then picking the final game.

  • Bolton v Man Utd
  • Man City v Wigan
  • Stoke v Liverpool
I'm a bit wary of Arsenal poor start, and Swansea could hold them, or get completely crushed by them, so avoiding this game.
Chelsea will probably get a goal, but they will probably start the game a goal down, as they are indifferent, but again, Sunderland are a very defensive team against the top teams, and will aim to not lose, and nick something near the end.
Everton v Aston Villa, I got the feeling Bent will score anytime, but still unsure whether there will be goals.
